For its Shift Festival tour to Washington DC in the Spring of 2018, the Albany Symphony requested an eye-catching design. We chose to capitalize on the timing of the area’s annual cherry blossom festival, incorporating these seasonal elements of nature into the Albany Symphony’s tour brand.

In addition to the design of a poster and social marketing images for marketing purposes, a keepsake tote was printed for its tour guests.

The artwork illustrates a watercolor treatment of cherry blossoms growing from a wooden piccolo, as one of the pieces being performed on tour featured a piccolo solo. The background is an underlay of a textured parchment.
